My heart belongs to Nars....review of their Laguna bronzer

So I'd heard the hype and read the raves about Nars Laguna bronzer and as I'd run out of my usual brand thought I'd try it out and see if it did indeed live up to its reputation...

Packaged in an alluring sleek matt black case, the bronzer is designed like a compact with a handy mirror for use on the go.  I have tried a range of bronzers previously including most recently a loose powder based one by Bare Minerals which I loved but was slightly annoying in that the powder could get a bit messy when applying. I love the fact therefore, that Nars has a no fuss appeal and is easy to use (all you need is a decent powder brush).

The powder itself is finely milled so helps fill in lines for a smoother complexion but without creating the 'caked on' look. Unlike others that I've seen on the market, there is not a hint of orange with the Laguna bronzer and instead has a very subtle golden shimmer which gives you a natural sun kissed glow. Although it produces a fairly light to medium coverage on first application (perfect for my fair skin), you can build it up with an extra dusting if you prefer and it's also great for contouring.

At £26.00 this won't be the cheapest bronzer you'll ever purchase but I do think you will get your money's worth as looks like it will last a long time. Personally, I love it, from the natural golden glow it gives your skin (perfect when you're feeling a bit washed out in the winter months) to the stylish light weight packaging. It's a little makeup luxury I now wouldn't be without!
